The Trent Rockets Men secured their first win in The Hundred, defeating London Spirit Men by four wickets. The match took place at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Ben Duckett played a significant role in the Rockets’ chase, scoring 75 runs from 47 balls to guide his team to victory.

Earlier in the women’s competition, Grace Harris’s London Spirit secured their first win of the tournament, defeating Ash Gardner’s Trent Rockets by five wickets at Trent Bridge. Marizanne Kapp bowled Beth Mooney early in the innings. However, a 33-run partnership between Sophia Dunkley (23 runs) and Sophie Luff (24 runs) helped the Rockets recover. Kapp later claimed the wickets of both Dunkley and Luff, and Georgia Adams was caught and bowled by Charlie Dean.

Ash Gardner, the captain, was the top scorer for the Rockets with 34 runs before her innings was ended by Dean. Bess Heath added an unbeaten 31 runs. In the chase, Grace Harris scored 37 runs from 20 balls for the Spirit before being caught by Luff off Gardner (2-24). The Rockets then took three quick wickets, dismissing Amy Jones (21 runs), Kapp (2 runs), and Sterre Kalis (0 runs). However, Marie Kelly (39 runs) and Nadine de Klerk (41 not out) guided the Spirit to chase down the target of 142 runs with five wickets in hand.
