ctet nic answer key — IN news

What Happened

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is preparing to release the CTET 2026 provisional answer key on its official website, ctet.nic.in. The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was conducted on February 7 and 8, 2026, for candidates seeking teaching positions in Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, and other central and private schools.

Why It Matters

The provisional answer key is a critical resource for candidates, allowing them to assess their performance prior to the final results. Candidates will have the opportunity to challenge the provisional answer key by paying an objection fee of Rs 1,000 per challenge. If a challenge is validated, the fee will be refunded. This process ensures transparency and fairness in the evaluation of candidates’ responses.

What’s Next

The CBSE is expected to release the CTET answer key and OMR response sheets between February 22 and 25, 2026. Candidates will need their application number and date of birth to access the answer key. Following the release, candidates will have a designated period to submit objections, which will be reviewed before the final answer key is published.
