gseb result — IN news

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) will officially declare the Class 12 results on May 4, 2026, at 10:00 am. This marks a significant shift as the announcement comes earlier than in previous years, allowing students to secure timely admissions into professional courses.

The HSC exams took place from February 26 to March 18, 2026. Over 15.28 lakh students registered for both the SSC and HSC examinations combined. This number reflects a robust participation rate among students in Gujarat.

Students will be able to check their results using a six-digit seat number. Additionally, they can access their scores via WhatsApp by sending their seat number to +91 63573 00971. This modern approach provides students with multiple avenues to receive their results promptly.

The passing criteria for both SSC and HSC exams stand at 33% per subject and 33% aggregate. Last year’s performance saw an HSC Science pass percentage of 83.51%, while the HSC General stream achieved an impressive 93.7%.

The SSC result is expected to follow shortly after, with a release date set for May 6, 2026. This timeline is crucial as it allows students to plan their next steps effectively.

This early announcement of the GSEB HSC result not only eases the anxiety of students but also ensures that they have ample time to consider their options for further education, including GUJCET preparations.
