What Happened The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the results for the JEE Main January session will be released by February 16, 2026. This date marks a postponement from the originally scheduled announcement on February 12. The results will be available on the official websites, nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who participated in the exam, which took place from January 21 to January 29, will be able to download their scorecards using their application number and password or date of birth. Why It Matters The JEE Main results are crucial as they determine eligibility for admission into undergraduate engineering, architecture, and planning programs at various institutions across India. Only the top 2.5 lakh candidates will qualify for the JEE Advanced examination. The NTA also closed the objection window for the provisional answer key on February 6, allowing candidates to challenge answers before the final results are published.
