Subrata Paul, Director, National Teams, highlighted the opportunity this match presents for the Indian national team players. He stated that it is more than just another match, offering a rare chance for players to test their skills against one of the greatest footballing nations. Such experiences, he noted, challenge players to grow, inspire bigger dreams, and create lasting memories throughout their careers.

However, organizing this fixture is anticipated to present significant logistical challenges. Concerns regarding crowd management and security for major football events in India were previously raised less than a year ago, following incidents during Lionel Messi’s visit to the Yuva Bharati Krirangan.
