Kolhan University has postponed its semester exams to facilitate the smooth conduct of the NEET UG 2026 exam, scheduled for May 3, 2026. This decision underscores the significance of this competitive entrance test for aspiring medical students across India. The NEET UG 2026 exam will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM in offline mode, with approximately 2.09 lakh candidates expected to participate. To accommodate these candidates, a total of 611 examination centres have been established across 27 districts. This year’s NEET exam will consist of 180 questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a total score of 720 marks. Candidates must arrive at their respective exam centres at least 1–2 hours before the reporting time, as emphasized by the National Testing Agency. The Examination Controller of Kolhan University stated, “The decision was taken to ensure smooth conduct of both university examinations and the NEET exam, while minimizing inconvenience to students.” This illustrates how critical the NEET is, not just for individual aspirations but also for institutional logistics. Moreover, special trains will operate on May 3 to facilitate travel for candidates heading to their designated exam centres. This move aims to alleviate transportation issues that could hinder candidates from reaching their locations on time. Candidates are reminded to adhere to strict exam guidelines. They should avoid carrying prohibited items such as mobile phones and electronic gadgets. The NEET UG Admit Card for 2026 has already been released, marking an important step in preparation for this significant examination. With competition fierce, candidates scoring above 650 marks may secure top ranks in the NEET 2026. As we approach this pivotal date, all eyes will be on how well candidates prepare and navigate these logistical challenges.
